How Bad Do You Want IT?

Moses Saw God.

• Before anything could happen, Moses had to experience the Real Presence of God.
• Moses asked in Exodus 33:18, “God, show me Your Glory. 

Moses Worshiped God.

• When God Showed Up, worship immediately followed.
• Just like Moses, who threw himself to the ground, true worship will have an element of Spontaneity. 

Moses Confessed and Repented before God.

• Being in the presence of God made Moses More Aware of the sinfulness of himself and the people.
• Moses Acknowledged their sinfulness with remorse. This is confession.
• Moses Altered their actions toward righteous living. This is repentance.

Moses desired the Abiding Presence of God.

• Moses prayed. He took the time to engage in conversation with the living God.
• Moses desired first that he would bring pleasure to God. (v. 9: “If I have found  favor…”)
• Moses was not seeking a Momentary visitation from God, but rather a Lasting habitation of His presence (v.9: ‘…let the Lord go with us.

Moses asked to be God’s Possession.

• He wanted to be identified with God Relationally.
• He wanted to be governed by God Sacrificially.
• He wanted to be resourced by God Positionally.
• He wanted to be empowered by God Supernaturally.
