Keep Your Faith for Healing Strong!
5.25.2022
The past two years have magnified sickness everywhere.
I want to counteract that with what God says about our health.
And it looks like we are in for another round of fear mongering about MonkeyPox.
It’s time NOW to make a decision to live in faith and NOT fear about your physical health.
What we are on the inside shows up on the outside.
Isaiah 33:6 (NKJV)
Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times and strength of salvation.
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT)
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
I want to boost your faith and confidence in God concerning your healing…
I knew nothing about healing being the will of God until I was 18. My church never taught what I am about to share.
I was filled with fear of sickness all my life until I was 18.
You may be filled with fear of sickness right now. Today’s message can cancel fear and can change you from a life of fear to a life of faith in God for your health!
There will never be a time you don’t need faith for healing either for yourself…or someone else. God can use you to minister His healing power to others who are filled with fear …
If you wait to get faith when you need it, you will be at a disadvantage.
Don’t wait until a physical challenge comes to get faith. Store it up now.
Don’t wait until the toilet paper runs out to get some. 🙂
Don’t wait until the crisis is on, the storm has cut electricity, etc. before you get extra food. Do it now!
Be a spiritual prepper!
If you’re in school, don’t wait and have to cram the info in for hours into the night before a big exam!
Keep a good storehouse of God’s word built up inside you about your health and healing.
God wants us to walk in divine health. It is made available by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary.
The faith you have to receive forgiveness is the same faith that will heal you from sickness and disease.
1. Deal with fear.
Proverbs 29:25 (NKJV)
The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.
Job 3:25 (NKJV)
For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me,
And what I dreaded has happened to me.
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Faith cancels fear. Or, fear cancels faith.
2. To what information sources do you give the most attention?
Feed your faith, starve your doubts.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Mark 4:24 (AMPC)
And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
Hearing, thinking, believing, speaking, acting.
Change the atmosphere of your life.
3. Isaiah 53 is the basis for faith in Jesus’ sacrifice to not only forgive us, but to heal us.
Isaiah 53:1-6 (NKJV)
Who has believed our report? and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. and we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Matthew 8:16-17 (NKJV)
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”
Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)
Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
4. Do you actively, with your words, acknowledge that you believe you receive healing and health?
Mark 11:23-24 (NKJV)
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Action Points:
1. What are you doing to resist the temptations of fear?
2. What information gets most of your attention?
3. How much time do you give to meditating on scripture about healing?
4. Do you regularly say what you believe about your health?
