This incident came to me while praying a couple of weeks ago:

Luke 22:31-32 (NKJV)

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

Demonic forces are turning up the heat in believer’s personal lives these days and are seeking to get them to compromise themselves in ethics, in personal morals, in the use of time, in what they hear and see.

Now is the time to clean your life up, and allow God to do a deeper personal cleansing in you.

Malachi 3:2-3 (NKJV)

But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderers’ soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;

He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver,that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:10 (AMP)

For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing].

Praying this past Monday for our nation:

We could scarcely pray. There was a heavy atmosphere. We were trying to pray for God’s mercy.

1 Thessalonians 2:18 (AMP)

Because it was our will to come to you. [I mean that] I, Paul, again and again [wanted to come], but Satan hindered and impeded us.

Colossians 4:12 (NKJV)

Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

It seems that we are being judged. Judgment is when God leaves you alone to reap what you have sown.

While we were praying for the nation, these words in the KJV came to me over and over again:

Proverbs 1:31 (KJV)

Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

I knew intuitively that the Lord was saying that we (America) have decided to live our own way and not honor His word. And God is now allowing us to reap the consequences.

Listen intently:

Wisdom shouts in the streets. She cries out in the public square. 21 She calls to the crowds along the main street, to those gathered in front of the city gate: 22 “How long, you simpletons, will you insist on being simpleminded? How long will you mockers relish your mocking? How long will you fools hate knowledge? 23 Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise. 24 “I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come.

I reached out to you, but you paid no attention. 25 You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered. 26 So I will laugh when you are in trouble! I will mock you when disaster overtakes you— 27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster engulfs you like a cyclone, and anguish and distress overwhelm you. 28 “When they cry for help, I will not answer. Though they anxiously search for me, they will not find me. 29 For they hated knowledge and chose not to fear the LORD. 30 They rejected my advice and paid no attention when I corrected them. 31 Therefore, they must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way,

choking on their own schemes. 32 For simpletons turn away from me—to death. Fools are destroyed by their own complacency. 33 But all who listen to me will live in peace,

untroubled by fear of harm.”

We are going into a season where God is allowing America to be filled with the results of our own sin. We will not have His protection as a nation.

God will take care of you as a believer, but understand that what is coming cannot be changed.

Hosea 4:17 (KJV)

Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.

Hosea 4:17-19 (NLT)

Leave Israel alone, because she is married to idolatry. 18 When the rulers of Israel finish their drinking, off they go to find some prostitutes. They love shame more than honor. 19 So a mighty wind will sweep them away. Their sacrifices to idols will bring them shame.

Our nation as a whole is corrupt:

Our politicians love money more than truth and justice. They are turning their heads when they know things are not right.

Americans as a whole love money more than truth and morality.

1 Timothy 6:10 (NLT)

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

God may judge the idol money in some way in America.

Baal worship is rampant with widespread immorality which includes lust, fornication (living together without marriage), adultery, incest, homosexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism, pederasty, pedophilia, pornography, etc.

Molech worship is rampant with abortion, which is killing and innocent child, is widespread, and used as a money making tool for business and the pharmaceutical industry.

Yesterday

Something got my attention yesterday that made me think that maybe, just maybe, the peace treaty mentioned in Daniel 9 was in the works or maybe entered into.

Daniel 9:27 (NLT)

The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”

This “treaty” marks the beginning of the 7 years we call tribulation, and with it, the antiChrist reveals himself.

Could we be just a few years away from the rapture and the 2nd coming of Christ?
