Authority over Immoral Demonic Forces

We are spiritual beings living in a physical world.

There is a world of darkness that is rising up everywhere and I want you to be ready for it!

There really is a clash of kingdoms today.

In the dark world, there is Satan himself, fallen angels that fell with him from heaven, and then there are demon spirits that seek to inhabit human beings mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Today we are going to look at some of the ways people yield to the demonic realm and then show how to be free from it.

Here is what you need to know – Demon spirits go where they are welcomed and not resisted. They follow the path of least resistance.

And Jesus has made a way for you to stay free from their control.

First a quick review:

We should go into our future knowing that Jesus Christ has equipped us for this season of time before His return, and that we have already won the future battles we face!

Satan is working tirelessly behind the scenes today in every area of life seeking to hinder God’s Kingdom and bring about a final rebellion against God culminating in the reign of the antiChrist.

The great news is that if we choose to bow down at the feet of Jesus, He will empower us with spiritual authority over Satan.

On October 30th we looked at Satan’s origin from Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14.

On November 6, 2022:

1. Satan has an authority right now on earth that was given to him by Adam when he chose to sin.

Luke 4:5-7 (NKJV)

Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

2. Jesus went to the cross as the representative man!

Jesus became our sin to free us from sin’s penalty.

Jesus defeated Satan in His resurrection to give us back the authority Adam and Eve lost.

3. Jesus’ resurrection gives you a delegated authority over Satan.

Matthew 28:18-20 – NKJV

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (19) Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

We remove our spiritual armor or clothes when we choose to live in unrepentant sin. We also lay down our spiritual badge of authority over Satan.

4. Build up your faith in the authority Jesus has given to you.

5. Use your God given authority over Satan. Authority that is not exercised does you no good!

You have authority in your life, but not necessarily in someone else’s life.

Authority over demon spirits, not human personalities.

You have authority in your children’s lives when they are small, but they must exercise their own authority when they grow up.

You have less authority in others that are not related.

Together, we must exercise authority over Satan in our nation.

Today: Authority over Immoral Demonic Forces.

We will end with a prayer of renunciation of some things that I will mention that hinder God and open the door to the devil.

Keep the spiritual doors to the dark kingdom shut in your life!

I gave an illustration last week about the first building we were in and the demonic influences that were there. I want to go a bit further.

We in the western world in a large way have not admitted that unseen forces manipulate human behavior.

Back in the mid-1980’s I did most all personal ministry for the pastor of a large church.

In assessing what I was dealing with I came across information that helped so much:

3 reason for personal problems in life:

Physical Illness.

Personal sin

Demonic influence,

Every problem is not demonic.

Joke: Someone saw Satan in the corner of a room crying and when a person asked why he responded: why am i being blamed for everything!

We have the corrupt human heart to deal with.

We also have the flesh – we can call it irresponsibility.

And then at times problems are exacerbated by the demonic realm.

Satan hides in the western world:

1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJV)

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

Satan works through subterfuge:

A deception by artifice or stratagem to conceal, escape, avoid, or evade.

He also works through being Incognito:

Incognito

With one’s identity concealed; without recognition.

In the western world, little has been said about demonic influence.

In the past in America, there has been so much light from the Bible that we have not had demonic infiltration like so many other countries.

But now this has changed. The Bible has been put away from public thinking in schools, colleges, and in civic life.

And the Bible has been replaced by relativistic thinking where values change according to the circumstance and situation.

This leads to lawlessness.

Evolution, Atheism, Relative Values, Amorality.

And removing the influence of the Bible from a nation opens the door to darkness and the demonic realm asserting control.

It removes God’s blessings and brings a curse.

Here is America today:

Matthew 12:43-45 (NKJV)

When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

We now have a generation that is turning away from its biblical roots that made it prosperous, and is turning to darkness and mysticism in a large way.

We have in a big way extinguished our gospel light, and the demonic world is taking territory right now in America.

You must be aware and prepared. And be ready to set people free!

Protect your spouse and children with the Word of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and prayer.

And, go out and help people be free from Satan’s snares!

Two Areas to watch out for:

1. Deviant sexual behavior.

1. Deviant sexual behavior:

Illicit sex is equal to Baal worship in the Old Textament where Baal was worshipped with every sort of immorality.

America has lost its moral compass given by God in the Ten Commandments.

The free love and hippie movements of the 1960’s has moved America away from its godly beginning and has now created a generation that is amoral and sexually loose.

Now we are reaping the consequences of the free love culture. We are the largest exporter of porn worldwide.

About 40% of our children are born outside of a normal family with a mother and father.

(Source: Vital Statistics birth data 1990,2016)

In 1990:

15% of white births were to unwed mothers.

34% of Hispanic births were to unwed mothers.

64% of black births were to unwed mothers.

In 2016:

28% of white births were to unwed mothers.

52% of Hispanic births were to unwed mothers.

69% of black births were to unwed mothers.

In June of 2015 the SCOTUS approved same sex marriage as a legitimate relationship recognized by the US government.

There is a bill called The Respect for Marriage Act – H.R. 8404 – that has already passed by the House and is awaiting approval (actually, I think it was just approved this past week) by the Senate that allows for polygamy and makes it wrong to denounce same sex marriage.

The Respect for Marriage Act threatens religious freedom and the institution of marriage in multiple ways:

• It further embeds a false definition of marriage in the American legal fabric.
• It opens the door to federal recognition of polygamous relationships.
• It jeopardizes the tax-exempt status of nonprofits that exercise their belief that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.
• It endangers faith-based social-service organizations by threatening litigation and liability risk if they follow their views on marriage when working with the government.

Our children are being taught amoral concepts in public schools, some of which a generation ago were deemed deviant sexual behavior by the American Psychiatric Association. Homosexuality, lesbianism, transgender, binary, and fluid sexualities are pushed to go mainstream.

If the morals of the 10 commandments are set aside by law, then it becomes a slippery slope and eventually any act of what was called immorality a generation ago will be allowed, including pedophilia.

And demon spirits love these new laws. You will see a new level of demonic activity with all of this.

Here are God’s standards for sexuality that still have not changed:

Leviticus 18 (NLT) Forbidden Sexual Practices

1 Then the LORD said to Moses, 2 “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I am the LORD your God. 3 So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life. 4 You must obey all my regulations and be careful to obey my decrees, for I am the LORD your God. 5 If you obey my decrees and my regulations, you will find life through them. I am the LORD.

6 “You must never have sexual relations with a close relative, for I am the LORD.

7 “Do not violate your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; you must not have sexual relations with her.

8 “Do not have sexual relations with any of your father’s wives, for this would violate your father.

9 “Do not have sexual relations with your sister or half sister, whether she is your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born into your household or someone else’s.

10 “Do not have sexual relations with your granddaughter, whether she is your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for this would violate yourself.

11 “Do not have sexual relations with your stepsister, the daughter of any of your father’s wives, for she is your sister.

12 “Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister, for she is your father’s close relative.

13 “Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s close relative.

14 “Do not violate your uncle, your father’s brother, by having sexual relations with his wife, for she is your aunt.

15 “Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law; she is your son’s wife, so you must not have sexual relations with her.

16 “Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife, for this would violate your brother.

17 “Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. And do not take her granddaughter, whether her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, and have sexual relations with her. They are close relatives, and this would be a wicked act.

18 “While your wife is living, do not marry her sister and have sexual relations with her, for they would be rivals.

19 “Do not have sexual relations with a woman during her period of menstrual impurity.

20 “Do not defile yourself by having sexual intercourse with your neighbor’s wife.

21 “Do not permit any of your children to be offered as a sacrifice to Molech, for you must not bring shame on the name of your God. I am the LORD.

22 “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin.

23 “A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act.

24 “Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways. 25 Because the entire land has become defiled, I am punishing the people who live there. I will cause the land to vomit them out. 26 You must obey all my decrees and regulations. You must not commit any of these detestable sins. This applies both to native-born Israelites and to the foreigners living among you.

27 “All these detestable activities are practiced by the people of the land where I am taking you, and this is how the land has become defiled. 28 So do not defile the land and give it a reason to vomit you out, as it will vomit out the people who live there now. 29 Whoever commits any of these detestable sins will be cut off from the community of Israel. 30 So obey my instructions, and do not defile yourselves by committing any of these detestable practices that were committed by the people who lived in the land before you. I am the LORD your God.”

Sex was God’s idea and is to be engaged upon only in a marriage between a male and a female.

Genesis 2:24-25 (NKJV)

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Violating God’s original design for sexuality opens the door to the demonic world to invade your life.

Teach your children about their sexuality at an appropriate age. I taught my kids. They turned every shade of color but white, but we went there! If you don’t teach them, somebody else will!

If you have been involved in any type of sexual sins, repent and renounce them in Jesus’ name!

When you are sexually intimate with someone, you become “one” with them. Spiritually, whatever rules the other person can also rule your life.

Example: Bible school graduate – prostitute. Obtained a lust that he could not shake.

Pornography can open the door for lust, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism.

Keep your mind. It is a doorway for God or for the demonic.

Example: Kenneth Hagin gave an illustration of a retired phychiatrist who started reading some of his old deviant sexual information books and began to molest little boys.

Action Point:

If you want to cut all demonic ties to thoughts and behaviors, pray this with me:

“ Father, in Jesus’ name, I repent from any and all past involvement in immorality of any kind that in any way I have participated in. I ask you forgive me for any and all lustful thoughts and behaviors I have involved myself in in any form;

Forgive me for any provocative looks, words, or behavior I have engaged in any form. I renounce any and all sexually immoral behavior I have been involved in with my mind, my emotions, my will, and my body. I declare today that I am free in Christ Jesus, and I command every demonic force that has tried to draw me into sinful behaviors or thought to leave me now, in the name of Jesus Christ. I am free, I am free, I am free.

I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, my emotions, and my will, and declare that I am in every way separate from any sexual involvement from my past, in the name of Jesus.

Father, I ask you to remove from me any desire for anything that would separate me from you or harm another person.

I declare my freedom today, in the name of Jesus!”
